Monday 9th November - cold write

Write a recount of what you did over the weekend or the last time you had a nice day out/school trip.

 

Tuesday 10th November - Identify features of a recount.

Look at the two recounts below and identify the features in both, e.g. paragraphs and time conjunctions.

Wednesday 11th November - Use time conjunctions and chronological order.

 

Thursday 12th November - Use expanded noun phrases to add detail to your writing.

Answer these questions fully in your books:

  • Why did the sages refuse the beggar food?
  • What made the sages understand it was right to share their food ?
  • What did the sages need to learn from scriptures?
