Design and Technology
Design and Technology is a practical subject and pupils are given a range of different design and make tasks and are expected to develop key practical skills (cutting, sticking, joining, construction).
We provide children with examples of technology in action, opportunities to analyse why everyday objects have developed in a particular way, and the chance to apply their technological skills in a range of design tasks and challenges.
