Give yourself 10 minutes to do as much as possible of the 180 Times Tables sheet below. (If you can't print it off, then jot down the answers as quickly as possible in your home-learning workbooks.)
Look again at the weekly spellings list. When you are ready, ask an adult to test you.
Today you have a re-drafting and editing activity.
Following the instructions on the sheet, re-write and improve one of the paragraphs. (The first one is easier as it needs lots of improvements. The second is trickier, as it already has many features and you will need to think more carefully about how to improve. Please select an appropriate level of challenge for you.)
After you have done this, try to edit and improve your own story from yesterday. You may wish to take a short section and re-write it showing your improvements. Use the prompts on the editing sheet to help you make effective changes.
Please post your finished work on Seesaw. Thank you.
If you haven’t already done so, please make sure that you have listened to the story of ‘Winter’s Child’ using the link below, before completing this work. If you do not have a dictionary at home, then use the Internet to look up the word. Remember that your work can be recorded in your home-learning book if you cannot print out this slide.
Today's work is centred around dividing 2-digit numbers by 1-digit using a part whole model and your knowledge of place value. The power point will take you through each step. If you need more of a challenge, check out the problem solving activities that I have included in the list of resources below.
I have also included a quick starter and a true or false reasoning activity.
Remember to keep up with your reading for at least 30 minutes a day. Well done to all of those pupils who are completing quizzes regularly and working towards their Spring target.
