Live lesson from 9am. Please make sure you have your book and pencil ready. The Maths questions are below and so are the answers for you to mark.
Read through your mythical story. This lesson is all about editing and improving your work. Yesterday, you practiced uplevelling your sentences by adding a fronted adverbial, amazing adjectives, relative clauses and subordinate conjunctions. You need to include these types of sentences in your work. Read through and see if there is anywhere you can add extra detail (it may even be an extra paragraph!)
Check your spellings and grammar too.
You are only making changes to your original piece of writing - like we usually do in class. You are not writing the whole thing up - just edit your story you have already written.
There are three different level of challenges. Choose which level you want to complete.
Work through the PPT. This week it is all about adaptation, particularly in regards to environment and habitats. I have highlighted words in red and there should be a speaker icon near the word where I have recorded how to pronounce the word.
There is a worksheet attached (different level of challenges) where you need to match the living thing to its habitat and adaptive traits. If you can print these out, you may match it that way; if not, you may draw the picture and label it to match them up.
