Literacy
Share four images from the story (below) (Make sure these images are not in order)-
1) The distressed vegetables
2) Supertato rescuing the vegetables
3) Evil pea chasing Supertato with a masher
4) Evil pea trapped in the jelly
Task: Can children sequence these events? Encourage them to talk about what has happened (in
the past tense) in each of the images. Draw the pictures in order of what happened with either with an arrow or numbered 1-4. If possible, write a caption for each of the First 2 scenes (the final 2 scenes will be tomorrow’s writing).
Share the final pages of the story (end of the video)
