I hope that you are all feeling well - we are missing you in class and we are very excited to see you when you are back . This week, we started to read 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes in English and for the next two weeks, we will be learning all about newspapers. At the end of the two week block, we will be writing our own newspaper report about the Iron Man. In maths we have been focusing on subtraction. In our wider curriculum lesson, we started our new topic 'What's on our doorstep?'. We started off by learning about continents, countries, cities and towns. We then labelled many key cities on a map of the UK and then moved on to locating Rochdale on a map of Manchester. Here are your home learning activities below.
