Spend 15 minutes on Hit the Button working on the speed of your times tables recall.
Complete these activities below linked to this week’s spellings. Remember to watch Monday’s power point spelling presentation first if you haven’t already done so. Remember that if you can't print these out, then simply write down the answers in your home-learning workbooks.
Today we are continuing with our new text: ‘The Story of Snow’.
This week’s Live Lessons will be centred around this text – please try to join if you can.
If this is not possible, then please use the link given to listen to the second part of the book (from 3:37). Next, re-play this section, pausing at each page. You should then be able to complete the activity below.
Please post your finished work on Seesaw. Thank you.
I have also included a quick starter and a true or false reasoning activity.
If you find yourself becoming stressed about any of your Maths, then do not panic. Contact me via Seesaw and in the mean-time practise your basic skills using IDL Cloud.
To access this, search for IDL and log on in the following way:
~ In lower case letters, enter your surname, followed by the first letter of your
Christian name, followed by @ol112tn
~ In lower case letters (For your password) again enter your surname, followed
by the first letter of your Christian name.
Remember to keep up with your reading for at least 30 minutes a day. Well done to all of those pupils who are completing quizzes regularly and working towards their Spring target.
We now have two pupils who have met their Spring target, one who is at 87% and one who is at 57% - this is FANTASTIC!!
I still cannot find quiz results for some pupils. Remember that your log in details for MyOn are the same as for Accelerated Reader. Please contact me via Seesaw if you need more help.
For this week’s Geography, I would like you to think about settlements. What is a settlement? How many different kinds of settlements are there?
After using the following links to the videos on BBC Bite Size, please complete the attached home-learning sheet, thinking about different kinds of settlements in our local area.
