Spend 15 minutes on Hit the Button working on the speed of your times tables recall.
Complete these activities below linked to this week’s spellings. Remember to watch Monday’s power point spelling presentation first if you haven’t already done so. Remember that if you can't print these out, then write down the answers in your home-learning workbooks.
This week, your work will continue to be focused around the Oak Academy unit for Year 4 on writing non-chronological reports. This should fit in well with our wider topic on animals and ecosystems.
There is one lesson per day linked to this English theme.
Reading Journal Activity
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, your work is based around another book on MyON. This book is called 'Spotlight on Europe' and is linked to our Geography topic. You can play the audio version to help you.
To access the book, log on to MyON as normal (remember to use capital letters) and then simply click on ‘projects’. You will find 'Spotlight on Europe' waiting for you.
You will need to open this book daily in order to complete your reading journal activities on the power point. There is one activity for each day from Monday to Wednesday.
Remember to keep up with your reading for at least 30 minutes a day. Well done to all of those pupils who are completing quizzes regularly and working towards their Spring target.
We now have eleven children who have exceeded their Spring target –well done!
