Tuesday

Morning Activity

Spend 15 minutes on Hit the Button working on the speed of your times tables recall.

Weekly Spellings

Complete these activities below linked to this week’s spellings. Remember to watch Monday’s power point spelling presentation first if you haven’t already done so. Remember that if you can't print these out, then write down the answers in your home-learning workbooks.

English

In today's English lesson, you will revise the use of expanded noun phrases. These are very useful when writing stories, as they allow us to include a great deal of description.

Please watch and participate in this lesson from Oak Academy using the link below.

Reading Journal Activity

Please read the second slide carefully as this is your example. Complete the activity on the third slide in a similar way. Remember that your work can be recorded in your home-learning book if you cannot print out this slide.

Maths

Today's work is recapping how to multiply a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number.

There is a power point presentation that takes you through each step, followed by work based on this.

I have also included a quick starter activity.

MyOn

Remember to keep up with your reading for at least 30 minutes a day. Well done to all of those pupils who are completing quizzes regularly and working towards their Spring target.

Geography

What is geography? What sort of things can we study?

Please watch the power point about the differences between human and physical geography (I have had to split this into two sections - make sure that you watch parts 1 and 2.)

After this, complete the activity. Again, if you cannot print this out, do not worry – you may write and draw your responses in your home-learning books.
