Morning Activity
For your morning activity, choose from the following:
Grammar Activity
There are two short grammar activities to complete – one for Wednesday and one for Thursday. These can be printed out, answered in books or simply discussed.
English
Today we are continuing with our new text: ‘The Story of Snow’.
This week’s Live Lessons will be centred around this text – please try to join if you can.
If this is not possible, then please use the link given and look closely at the last two pages of the text. Freeze the video here. You should then be able to complete the activity below.
I have also provided you with the answers so that you can mark your work.
Reading Journal Activity
Today's task is a vocabulary exercise.
If you don't have a dictionary, remember that you can search for the meaning of a word on the Internet. You can also search for synonyms (words that mean the same) and antonyms (words with the opposite meaning).
Maths
This week’s Maths continues on from Friday’s work about division.
Again, there is a daily power point to take you through each step, followed by a worksheet. Remember that you can e-play the power point at any time to help you with the work sheet.
I have also included a quick starter and a true or false reasoning activity.
If you find yourself becoming stressed about any of your Maths, then do not panic. Contact me via Seesaw and in the mean-time practise your basic skills using IDL Cloud.
To access this, search for IDL and log on in the following way:
~ In lower case letters, enter your surname, followed by the first letter of your
Christian name, followed by @ol112tn
~ In lower case letters (For your password) again enter your surname, followed
by the first letter of your Christian name.

MyOn
Remember to keep up with your reading for at least 30 minutes a day. Well done to all of those pupils who are completing quizzes regularly and working towards their Spring target.
I can’t believe that three children have ALREADY met their Spring target!! J
Science
Please work through the power point below. Don’t worry if you can’t do the investigation, you will still be able to read the information and watch the video.
If you are able to carry out the investigation, please choose an appropriate level of challenge for your planning sheet – one star is the most straightforward; the three star sheet is challenging.
If you cook with an adult or if you make ice cubes, you will also have witnessed these scientific processes taking place in the kitchen!
