Morning Activity

For your morning activity, choose from the following:

  1. Repeat the 180 times tables sheet from Monday
  2.  Spend 15 minutes on Hit the Button
  3. Spend 15 minutes on TT Rockstars
  4. Practise this week’s spellings

Grammar Activity

There are two short grammar activities to complete – one for Wednesday and one for Thursday. These can be printed out, answered in books or simply discussed.

This week we will begin looking at the poetry of Benjamin Zephaniah using a unit of work from Oak Academy.

This week’s Maths is all about fractions. We will be building on the work that you did in Year 3. Live lessons on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday will be based on Maths.

I have also included a quick starter and a true or false reasoning activity.

Children’s Mental Health Week – Wednesday

Today is Well-Being Wednesday.

The live lesson today will focus on the difference between being proud of your achievements and showing off.

Children’s Mental Health Week – Wednesday

Today is Well-Being Wednesday.

This afternoon, instead of doing work,  you can choose to do something you really enjoy doing. I would like you to choose activities that make you feel good.

Whatever you decide, make sure you are safe and that you have checked with an adult that it is okay.

For example you could choose:

  • Playing a game
  • Going on a walk
  • Going on a bike ride
  • Mindfulness colouring (some sheets are attached below)
  • Playing with your toys
  • Spending time with family (including pets) in your bubble
  • Drawing/ writing
  • Baking
  • Watching films / TV
