Goodbye and good luck to all of our Year 6 pupils, whether you are in school for this final week or at home.
You have been an amazingly supportive year group and have looked after each other so well, especially through these difficult times. Please continue to look out for each other and to aim to be the best versions of yourselves as you embark on your secondary school journey.
We are all very proud of you: you have been a credit to your families and your school. I feel very fortunate to have spent time with you this year.
Each and every one of you is a star in your own way.
Go and shine: you have so much to give to the world.
Welcome back to the Summer term, Year 6! I hope you all had a pleasant and safe Easter.
Please use the power point below to complete your learning tasks for each week.
Thanks to all who have been in touch on Seesaw: it is great to see your photos and hear what you have been doing.
Message to Year 6
Dear Year 6,
I hope that you are all staying safe, being good for your parents and following the instructions to only play in your house and garden.
I miss us all being together as a class, but I know that I can trust you all to be supportive of your families, to be there for each other (even though this has to be through Social Media and telephone calls at the minute) and to stay strong, as you are a wonderful, thoughtful class team.
Please try to keep working on your Home Learning each day, not only because both Mrs Bolton and I are checking, but simply because you still want to be the best that you can.
You and your families are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
Hi everyone, please can you make sure that you log into the IDL Cloud using the instructions on the sticker in the front of your Home Learning book?
(Just search for IDL cloud. Your user name is your surname followed by the initial letter of your first name followed by @ol112tn. Your password is your surname followed by the initial letter of your first name. There are no capitals and no spaces.)
You can all do the Maths section - just complete the test on line and you will be able to start the activities. Each lesson is quite short and you should be able to move rapidly through the work.
Those of you who were in on Friday 20th, will also be able to do the English section, as we have entered the results of your reading and spelling tests.
Please try to do a little of this each day so that you stick to a routine as much as possible.
