Hello and welcome to Year 2's class page! My name is Miss Hughes and I am really excited to be teaching Year 2 this year. Please find information below regarding this academic year.

PE

Year 2 will have PE on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please send your child into school in their PE kit. 

Homework

Homework will be sent home every Friday which will need to be returned by the following Wednesday.

The homework will consist of: 

• 10 spellings in preparation for a spelling test on the following Friday 
• Maths homework based on current learning
• Reading daily (at least 3 times a week) 
• Ttrockstars (at least 20 minutes a week)

When completed, the homework can be brought into school.

By the end of Year 2 the children will be expected to be able to spell and use the words attached below correctly.
