Remembrance
We Shall Remember...
During the month of November, we have been thinking about people who are in heaven. We learnt how to say the ‘Eternal Rest’ prayer. On the 11th day of the 11th month we especially remember those people that have died, including the soldiers that died, fighting in the war for us. We wrote prayers on poppies which were put together to make a wreath. We went to our Poppy garden to reflect and pray together. Faye and Scarlett laid down our wreath. At 11 o’clock we had a special assembly, led by year 4 which taught us more about this. To show respect we took part in a 2 minute silence. We also made stained glass window effect poppies in Art.
