Year 4

Spring Curriculum Newsletter

We gathered the equipment we needed and worked together to make a working complete circuit. We had to be very resilient in this lesson to work out how to do it, Miss Coupe didn't give us any clues!! We completed it successfully and showed great teamwork skills!

World Book Day Mannequin Challenge!

Y4 teamed up and produced our very own WBD mannequin challenge! We tried super hard to keep very still...and not even blink!!

Roman Dance

Y4 worked really hard to create our dance depicting the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. We used classical music - Mozart's 'Requiem', and Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana' to make our dance just that little bit more dramatic!!

Y4 really enjoyed World Book Day! We did a lot of fun activities, including making a book based game, freeze frames and creating our very own mannequin challenge!!
We had a fun lesson learning how sound was created. We played lots of different musical instruments and had to think about what vibrated and what caused the vibration. It was a teensy bit noisy, but lots of fun!
We conducted an experiment in class to see the effects different types of drinks have on your teeth. We used a variety of drinks and used eggs to represent our teeth. Some of the results weren't pretty!

Autumn Curriculum Newsletter

We worked together in groups to decide the layout of some food chains.
Year 4 had lots of fun learning how the digestive system worked!
