Safeguarding Notice

St Gabriel’s RC Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff, governors and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. Welcome to Reception's class page.

Here you will find important information linked to our curriculum, year group and support ideas with useful websites to help your child's learning from home. We will also share some of things that we have been getting up to and the fun that we have been having!

Key Information

All children need a pair of wellies that stay in school, these are essential for the children to be able to access provision on the grass.

Reception have access to outdoors which includes lots of resources to support children's physical development. They will also participate in PE lessons therefore please ensure a full PE kit is in school as we prepare the children to get ready to dress independently.

All children have been given a school book bag and water bottle. Please ensure these come to school daily, including their reading pack which includes a reading book and reading record.

Books are changed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please place the full reading pack in the box to be changed on the designated days, please ensure that the reading record has been signed to indicate that your child has read the book.
