Year Two

Hello and welcome to Year 2's class page! 

My name is Miss Hughes and I am very excited to be teaching Year 2 again this year.

PE

PE will be on Tuesday and Friday. 

 

Please send your children to school dressed in their PE kits. 

Homework

Homework will be sent home every Friday which will need to be returned by the following Wednesday. 

The homework will consist of: 

  • 10 spellings in preparation for a spelling test on the following Friday
  • Maths homework based on what the children have learnt in class that week 
  • Reading daily (at least 3 times a week) 
  • TTrockstars (at least 20 minutes a week) 

 

When completed, the children can bring their homework into school.
